we had a fabulous time staying in Bryafon over the New Year Period. The house was warm and welcoming and the location is superb. We are a group of couples whose husbands enjoy fishing and the wives like to lunch and shop. The ladies really enjoyed Sunday lunch at Lamprey Court Hotel which has a new Spa and is about 30 min drive from Laugharne. .Providing that you make resevations for lunch ,you get complimentary use of the pool, jacuzzi, and steam room. The lunch was excellent and very reasonably priced. The husbands managed to visit Ian Heaps fishery at Narbeth on two days and caught some excellent fish. As a group we enjoyed the walk from Amroth over the coastal path to Wisemans bridge where there is a nice pub for lunch. Laugharne is a lovely quiet village and Brynafon was ideal .

I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you. Your house is so beautiful and we felt welcome, as if it was our second home, the instant we walked through the door! Even though it was only a two night stay, I think it was one of the best holidays I have ever had!

You have made six friends very, very happy and helped create the most perfect memories!

Hopefully see you (Brynafon) again soon!

The Slimbridge crew had a great time in Brynafon for our annual jolly. We thought it was the best equipped house that we have ever rented. Laugharne is a delight. We walked Bosherton lily ponds and along the coast path to St Gowans..in the sun. We just missed seeing two otters..we also walked the birthday walk and came back via St Johns. A meal at the Corrs was a delight as were the pizzas and quiz night at the Mariners. Best bit was hot welsh cakes straight off the Plank at the Boat house. Excellent all round

Thank you for a lovely stay at Brynafon. We really enjoyed the house and location. There was plenty to do with some great walks, balanced out with a fun trip to the Blue Lagoon pool for our 4 year old son. We had a great time at Saunders Foot and a good meal in the pub on the beach at Wiseman’s Bridge. While most of the country was experiencing snow, we had some beautiful sunny days. I loved getting my first cup of tea each morning, opening the patio door and taking in the view!
    Thank you,
    Melony, Tom, Freddy and friends
